Meet instructor Nancy Davis (Seño Nancy)
Nancy Davis, known as Seño Nancy, is the founder of Spanish Class Peques, LLC and a certified teacher through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). With years of experience teaching elementary students and serving as a trusted vendor with LAUSD, she brings a dynamic and engaging approach to Spanish instruction.
Her teaching style is interactive, age-appropriate, and focused on helping students truly understand and retain the language through games, repetition, and cultural connections from Spain to Latin America. Seño Nancy also incorporates simple pronunciation techniques—often relating Spanish sounds to English—to support confident, everyday communication.
What began as a passion project has grown into a purposeful program rooted in consistency, creativity, and care. Seño Nancy remains committed to providing high-quality Spanish instruction that helps schools enrich their students’ learning experience in a lasting and impactful way.
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Nancy’s journey began with small-group instruction, private lessons, and support for high school students in AP Spanish—services she continues to provide alongside her expanding programs. What started as a passion for helping students truly understand and enjoy the language has grown into a thriving program. Today, her Spanish enrichment program is offered in over 10 schools as an after-school program within LAUSD, while also providing group pod learning for families outside the school setting. This growth reflects both the effectiveness of her engaging, immersive teaching approach and the strong relationships she builds with students, families, and school communities. As her program continues to expand, Mrs. Nancy looks forward to partnering with more schools and districts to bring meaningful Spanish learning to even more students.
